To drive, create value & delivering of quality information or processes to facilitate PGP process and product quality improvement.
Initiates, coordinates and integrates activities in (non-) PGP projects, but also contributes to department improvement projects on PGP and/or non-PGP related initiatives.
Contribute in a Quality Engineering team and Work closely with the analytics engineering team to develop testing framework for our analytical platform and practice.
Design and Implement repeatable and reusable test scripts and Utilities for jobs running in production and pre production environments.
Service and Enable testability of our Analytical Algorithms in the Big Data Cluster /Enterprise.
Play a key role in our Analytical Algorithm applications in a QA practice Initiative.
Establishment and Enforcement of Best Practices in Algorithm/Big Data implementation space.
Production analyzation of workflows in a scientific analytical environment.
Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to define and implement execution pipeline.
Consult on best practices in the algorithm development from performance, engineering & operational support perspective.
Strong Hands on Knowledge of software development practices.
Operational Experience within Big Data Space.
Prior experience working with process orchestration engines and automation tools.
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and in a team with Optimal guidance and direction.
Experience in the Retail industry is an added advantage.
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of work experience of which 5+ years of test scripting and backend automation is a must.
Handling and analyzing large volumes of data in a BI & DW environment is a big Plus.
Prior SQL, Hadoop, hive and oozie experience preferred.
Strong Java and scripting skills is very desirable.
Bachelor's Degree is a must
