5 years experience in developing and supporting OLAP solutions using Microsoft technologies SSAS and advanced experience with SQL, Oracle environment.
Coalescing information from Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server systems, building dimensional models to surface them to build multi-terabyte OLAP cubes.
Understanding and building Gap domain knowledge and adhering to processes.
Having thorough understanding on data of various source systems.
SSAS cubes performance tuning.
Person would be responsible for implementing, Testing , Documenting, Data quality, trainings of the users.
Identifies and recommends improvements in solutions to meet the SLAs.
Researches, manages and coordinates resolution of complex issues through root cause analysis as appropriate.
Responsible for timely communication related to any day to day issues and problem resolutions in applications.
Establishes and maintains productive relationships with technical leads of key infrastructure support areas, such as DBAs and system admins .
Participate in daily standup meetings or related forums.
4-5 years developing and supporting OLAP solutions using Microsoft technologies SSAS.
Advanced experience with SQL, Oracle environment. Teradata is plus.
Possess a strong technology, data analysis background.
Experience with production batch scheduling (like CAWA) and monitoring would be a plus.
Proven experience working with onshore/off shore support team.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills for assessment of complex issues and recommend /implement effective solutions
An inherent ability and willingness to learn new and complex concepts quickly, including platforms, languages, syntaxes, and technologies.
Natural technical and functional curiosity.
Familiar with Agile Methodology.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in Big Data (Hive, Hadoop, etc.) is plus.
Bachelor's Degree is a must
