Co-ordinate all aspects of technical development in project, design and development of software component and ensure that interested parties review and approve all technical deliverable's, including code. Provide all aspect of technical consultation to the other members of development team. Responsible for technical research required for top quality design and involved in development and administration of project plans. Participate in requirement gathering session with business partners and ensures requirement is complete and authorized & also facilitate technical status meetings and report status to project manager regarding risks and issues. Participate in change control process and update deliverable's based on impacts due to approved changes and track completion of required deliverable's as per followed project methodology. Adhere to organization’s technical architecture and best practices. Architecture and design of high performing and secure web applications Drive architectural evolution by implementing solutions Work on software security, performance and scalability Review of product requirements, designs and code Communication with clients for understanding business requirements and finalizing specifications Work on long-term international projects using emerging technologies and platforms
Minimum 4 years' experience in Java/J2EE development Minimum Bachelors or Masters in relevant field MUST be Australian Citizen to apply (due to E3 Visa requirements) Clear and effective communication skills Ability to work agile and "hit the ground running" Strong knowledge/experience with: Angular JS JQuery Spring Batch Framework Spring Security Hibernate RESTful Web Services Experience with both Oracle and MS SQL databases SQL Scripting experience Preferable additional experience: Maven WebLogic Apache Tomcat JBOSS PL/SQL Jenkins Strong background in Object-oriented Programming (OOP) Hands-on software development experience in Java Experience in Angular2, WebSockets, JSON, Maven, JBoss and JMS Strong knowledge of software security, including familiarity with the range of available options Strong understanding of fail-over strategies and high availability Strong understanding of software performance and scalability Strong knowledge of Spring Boot Proficiency in verbal and written English (knowledge of French is a plus) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills Knowledge of insurance and capital markets business as a plus
